Ramin from TLC Flooring is an amazing salesman. He is educated in his retail and doesn't mind going into great detail regarding the various product lines. His prices are just as amazing.
The installers Juan/Carlos for carpet and vinyl are impressive. They're quick and clean, and the skill set they employ is obvious as they tackle a job. Very experienced labor.
Ron on the other hand, Ramin's estimator/second in command, is where the ball (and star) drops. While he can measure and manage arithmetic, his recollection is off point. For all three jobs I had tasked, he was the man to come out and measure and be the eyes for Ramin. All three jobs had issues in what was said and what was delivered.
While I can appreciate the showmanship of Ramin "remediating" the last issue with Ron over speakerphone, their business is concrete, and who am I to encroach and question Ron's word. He's past retirement and killed an otherwise good relationship.
TLC Flooring as a whole delivers as promised, and Ramin hustles day in and day out to make those accommodations. Due to Ron with no other option, however, 5/5 would be a lie.
*Make sure you follow up after an installation if the adjacent flooring such as carpet was not cut and tacked down proper. Follow ups are hit or miss, and you may find yourself calling them a week later to get someone out to finish the job. The coordination between flooring departments is abysmal.
